El Albergue Central Palma se encuentra situado en el corazón de Palma, en la Plaza de Cuadrado, al lado del ayuntamiento, está en el Barri de la Gerreria, barrio donde antiguamente hubo una actividad artesana muy activa. El Albergue Central Palma está construido en un antiguo convento de las Hermanas Franciscanas de la Misericordia. El edificio ha tenido una importante reforma sabiendo mantener la estructura y el estilo originales y adaptándolo a las necesidades actuales. Habilitado para minusválidos. El Albergue Central Palma cuenta con habitaciones de 2, 4, 6, 8 y 10 camas, pudiendo elegir entre dormitorios mixtos o por sexo. Este alojamiento pone a disposición de los huéspedes diferentes servicios para el uso y disfrute de los mismos como son un espacio destinado para preparación de comidas propias, duchas, alquiler de toallas, salón de actos y reuniones, taquillas, alquiler de bicicletas, vehículos, cafetería/bar, TV y juegos, consigna, etc...

Muy mala gestión. Resulta que en invierno está cerrado pero sin embargo si que aceptan el dinero de la gente. Espero que me devuelvan mi dinero. |

Although me and my friend booked a 4 beds dorm, the 1st night we ended up in 19 (!) beds dorm. Reception said there's only that room available so we have no choice. No sorry, no nothing. Next day we needed to leave quite early, so we've been told we can leave the luggage at the reception (night shift guy was too busy to do that), so we carried our stuff whole day. The following night we've got what we booked, but the reception guy seemed like he's doing a favour to us. At the end of our stay my friend wanted to leave the luggage for few hrs (night shift guy said she needs to pay extra 3 eur/bag). To sum it up, staff members were very unhelpfull and unfriendly (at least the guys we met)! They looked like they're doing a big favour working there. Pity, because hostel itself is very nice, in a very good location. |
