Hotel en muy buena situación. Cerca de todo. Justo enfrente del palacio Real. No hay ruidos así que se descansa bien. El edificio está bien, hay ascensor así que se puede subir maletas sin problemas. El personal es muy amable, subieron la maleta a la habitación y explicaron todo lo que la habitación tenía. Había agua de cortesía y hervidor de agua con café, que siempre se agradece poder preparar un té o algo en la habitación. También tiene un mini frigorífico que es un plus para poder tener alguna cosa que necesite frío. Había una botellita de vino también de cortesía, otro plus a añadir a la estancia. Cama cómoda. No se pasa frío aunque vayas en invierno. Se puede entrar y salir a cualquier hora, ya que dan llaves del portal, aunque ellos siempre están. Sin duda lo elegiremos en futuras estancias en Madrid. |

The room had its quirks, such as a squeaky wooden floors and the the elevator was available only after clearing an entrance threshold and 5 steps, but that's pretty common in Europe. I would love to stay here again as a base for exploring Madrid. |

The staff including Jose, the other gentleman (didn’t get his name) and Ellie (who gave us a lot of info for the city) were all very friendly and helpful. The room was huge and kept well. We love everything about the room maybe just the AC is making us having a bit of congestion yet the air was not as cold as expected. We could come back to stay there again. |

We loved our room at Central Palace from the moment we walked through the door. We actually missed the entry because it doesn’t look like your traditional hotel entrance. Once we found our way in we were greeted by Elena who was very helpful and friendly in getting us to our room and filling us in on where to go and how to get there. Our room was huge and ornately decorated to make you feel like you were staying in the palace. We had a tiny balcony with huge French doors that gave us a magnificent view of the real palace just across some manicured gardens. It was in a wonderful central location that was walking distance to all the major attractions. Our driver told us everything was within a half hour walk. |

What to improve: the safety box must be fixed to the wall/wardrobe, otherwise it becomes just a box. Constructive criticisms/suggestions would be: 1) instead of refolding used towels and hanging on rod, leave used towels hanging on hook and ADD fresh towels to towel rack. 2) needs more lighting in bathroom and a light over coffee bar. Separate lighting in closet and tea pot area without having to turn on the main room light and disturb someone still in bed. |

The view of the gardens and the palace was spectacular, the location just so easy to the metro, and a short walk to all the beautiful green spaces and linear park. Also close to the Mercado San Miguel for tapas and drinks and all kinds of food. And next to the Teatro Real.The room was spacious and the terrace an unexpected treat. We will be back. La habitación muy cómoda y amplia, el problema fue que nos dieron una que estaba Justo pegada a la puerta de entrada y cada vez que alguien entraba o salía parecía que nos iba a entrar a nosotros en la habitación, al ser de sueño ligero me despertaba con cada sonido de la puerta. Por otro lado el baño olía bastante mal... suponemos que sería por las cañerías de madrid. La primera vez que nos limpiaron la habitación muy bien ! Las siguientes hasta se dejaron un trapo de limpieza y no nos cambiaban las tazas usadas. Pero en general fue una experiencia agradable. |

Solamente estuve una noche, sin embargo, no pude disfrutar mi estancia completamente debido a algunos detalles. En primer lugar, la cisterna estuvo haciendo fuertes ruidos a lo largo de la noche, paraba y volvía a hacer fuertes ruidos, lo que no me permitió descansar del todo bien. Por otro lado, al ducharme antes de acostarme el agua empezó a salir fría y no volvió a salir caliente, sin embargo por la mañana sí me pude duchar con normalidad. Quizá estaría bien revisar esos detalles por si hay algún problema con ellos. Por último, aunque no le doy tanta importancia, la cama no me resultó muy cómoda ya que para mi gusto era algo dura. |

The staff member on duty could at that time have been more helpful maybe meeting us downstairs. It would make a big impression. Assistance with our cases on leaving was greatly appreciated. Pros: The location is great - a short walk away from the Opera metro station, and close to tourist sites like the Palacio Real, Plaza Mayor and the Chocolateria de San Gines. The staff were very friendly and helpful and they spoke excellent English. Our room (interior double) was so spacious! We loved that it had a seating area and a mini kitchen with a fridge. The shower was the most spacious shower out of all the hotels we stayed at over two weeks in Spain. The bed was very comfortable. Everything was clean. We loved the fancy palace-style wallpaper and the chandelier. Cons: It was a little hard to figure out how to get inside when we first arrived, but we eventually figured out we needed to use the intercom. We were given keys to the outside door, but these were a little sticky and difficult to use. The interior rooms look out onto a narrow shaft, so they have almost no natural light. |

Dotate dì frigobar, con consumazione gratuita, TV, Wi-Fi, bagno privato. La colazione, semplice ma buona, viene servita nel bellissimo Café d’Orient, proprio sotto l’Hostal. Vicinissimo alla stazione metro Opera e ai maggiori siti di nteresse turistico. Intorno ristoranti e tapas bar. Un particolare ringraziamento ad Alina e allo staff della reception , pronto ad accogliere l’ospite con cordialità, professionalità e simpatia. This place is in a great location and we have been here a few times now. During our last trip we stayed here twice. The staff is great and helpful. The beds are firm but good. The place is right in across from the palace which is a great view with a balcony room. There is a small fridge that we were able to store a few things in and they had a kettle in the room as well. The downsides for this place would be that the breakfast is not included (but there are plenty of places close by), the lift is very small, and the cleaning is unreliable. Our first visit was okay but they never refilled the coffee, the second, they refilled the coffee but never swept the floor. |

This was our third stay, the second on this trip at this hotel. For the money, it is a great value. Everything can be a little up or down on each visit. On this one, the coffee was replaced when used but the cleaning staff apparently couldn't be bothered to sweep during our three day stay. There is a small fridge which we appreciate, and we would like that if the hotel doesn't have a clothes cleaning service to at least be able to recommend one close by. The staff is always generally pleasant and helpful and we always appreciate them. The only hardship we saw on this return visit was standing outside pressing every button trying to get in without a response. Someone staying at the hotel actually let us in to go up to the front desk to be checked in. All of the "down" things are fairly small in my book comparatively to the good. So I would recommend this place and will stay here again. Are there improvements to be made? Sure, but it's still good as is. |

Ha sido un grata sorpresa el descubrir este alojamiento, genial para celebrar una fecha señalada, la habitación espectacular, no le faltaba detalle alguno, incluso con cava y agua de bienvenida, te, café, vamos servicios de un alojamiento de calidad superior. La ubicación estupenda, y desayunar en uno de los Cafés con más encanto de Madrid no tiene precio. Si a eso sumamos la atención por parte de Alina, pues tienes el pack completo, sin duda ya estoy pensando en volver a reservar cuando vuelva a Madrid, gracias por la atención. |

La ducha tiene problemas. Tan pronto, sin cambiar la posición del mando, sale agua muy caliente que abrasa o sale el agua helada. Hay que tener precisión milimétrica para que aguante la temperatura seleccionada sin excesivas variaciones. La puerta de entrada tiene mucha holgura pues al ser muy vieja no ajusta bien, por la cual entra toda la luz del pasillo por la noche y los ruidos, con lo cual la intimidad de la habitación tampoco es buena. Además estábamos al lado de la puerta de entrada. |

La atención de Alina es excelente, así como el esmero del personal por mantener en buen estado y limpias las habitaciones. Sin embargo, en algún momento una de las personas del hostal no se dirigió con la misma amabilidad de las personas de recepción, utilizando un timbre de voz que por momentos suena descortés, a lo cual deben poner atención. |

Das Zimmer war schön, aber eben ein Hostal mit einem Flur von dem aus sich alles verteilt. Personal nett. Leider viel Lärm im Hostal: direkt neben der Rezeption hat man halt schon früh morgens das Ausschecken jedes Gasts mitbekommen. Schade, denn die Lage an sich ist ruhig und angenehm. |

Had a lovely stay!! Getting all the information how to get to the Hotel upfront to arrival was extremly helpful. Indeed it was not easy to find the Hotel. But lovely location!! Charming Alina at the Hotel reception is very kind and helpful. I am glad I discovered this Hotel, as I am usually staying in a Apartment House in same area, rooms are very comfortable and well equipped. Will come back! |
