You are welcome to ´Calenton del Golfo´, a vacation home located in an excellent area, particularly in the Gulf town a small town located in the western part of the island of Lanzarote. This fishing village was surrounded by lava from volcanic eruptions and borders the Timanfaya National Park.Reformed in 2000 to suit the needs of travelers, continues to retain its original charm and elements that have remained traditional Canarian architecture, with capacity for up to 6 people, the house revolves around a courtyard with its water tank that collects rainwater from the roofs, and distributed to the rooms facing the same. We have a great terrace allowing you to enjoy the temperatures of the island while you relax in paradise.
Caleton Del Golfo is an old house, located in the El Golfo, southwest of the island of Lanzarote, by the sea; bordering the Timanfaya National Park. It has been family owned since the late nineteenth century and was always used as a holiday residence.In 2000 was adapted to provide its current use for rural tourism. It has 3 fully equipped apartments and it retains the traditional typical Canarian architecture. During the first restoration, in the 60’s Cesar Manrique intervened; at the time cousin of the owners.
The house revolves around a courtyard with a cistern that collects rainwater from the roofs, and then distributed to the rooms. We wanted to keep intact the magnificent terrace to continue to enjoy the sun, eat or watch the unrivaled sunsets.
